converting missioneros 6/24/2019

what up what up another week down in blessed argentina. wierd but now i honestly feel like argentina is my home everything is so normal now my diet and everyday life has dramatically changed into a strong cordobese. (by diet i mean i have gained 20 pounds of pure bread).

so this week was pretty killer we had an asado with some sweet empanadas from salta(other province in argentina). ahh it was so good food here in argentina is very limited sometimes but its very delicious haha so that was super good.

update on the missionaries, ok so we taught them last week right. and then this week the boy missionary told me he speaks english haha so lit we had a lesson in pure english and it was crazy hard to teach in english but it was soo good he was a lot more humble in english i loved it he had a ton of questions about the bom and now he is reading the bo0ok of mormon and praying woot woot he also loved the concept of temples haha it was a lesson all over the place i taught plan of salvation joseph smith, pioneers, temples and more haha it was a lot but i left the lesson shaking cause it was so awesome!!!!!

6/17/2019 My president died

So this week a lot more happened dont worry.

So first we had a lesson with an investigator and in walked two 7th day adventistas(other missionaries) and i was like what the heck is this apostasy and our investigator said that every tuesday they come overy too and they listen to them as well. thats when my heart started pounding real good, they came in and greeted us and they started to teach we were listening participating a little and then one asked the whole group what is the sabbath day and i said sunday and then the other missionary said saturday and i wipped my head around and was like what did you just say??? and she was like yeah thats the holy day. so then our investigator was like ah freak bible bash time i want to know each reasoning for each side and i was super worried so i did a quick little prayer to help us have the spirit and not fight. now i was not anywhere near ready for a conversation like this i had never questioned why the sabbath day was sunday i just knew thats what it was so i knew not a single scripture to back up my beliefs. so they began with a ton of scriptures from the bible of how the beginning of the commandments it says keep the 7th day holy and that is true then it came to our turn and my comp just turned and looked at me and i was like ok spirit lets do it so i began flipping through the bible and i was able to find scriptures id never read in my lifetime that explained it perfectly. i tought that in the beginning the commandment was given for saturday  but when christ came we recieved a new covenant and i had like 6 different scriptures to back it up from the bible. it was amazing i still dont know how it worked like that and how i just happened to find all the write scriptures but i could feel the spirit testifying to them super strong. then the boy missionary came back with a bunch of papers he had printed off about our church and i immediatly felt the spirit leave so i stopped to fight with him and shared james 1.5 a key scripture we always share which says to ask god if we lack wisdom. Then we were able to share the restauration with them and give them two books of mormon and they said they would read and pray about it. soo woot woot look out for updates from them. but the best part was after they left our investigator turned to us and said dont worry i now know its true what you guys say i just felt something that i couldnt feel with other missionaries. aahhhh i was so happy i almost cried. so sweet and if any other missionaries want the scriptures i used email me no mas.

OK other news i had my last conference with my pres and that was super sad to see him go. they were like my second set of parents i love them to death.

Not much else this week i got to play a little bit more of soccer and that was sick and then recieved transfers and im staying here with my comp for another transfer.

8 months 6/10/2019

Whats up everyone hows it going? i just hit my 8 months mark so woot woot.

This week was pretty good we had to travel a ton again because my mission is changing quite a bit with the coming of our new president so that wasnt the funnest but im excited for a new pres.

Dallas and caitlyn  are pregnant so congrats to them but just so everyone knows i knew before everyone so whats up guess who is the most important. hahha no but congrats to them even though they decided to do it while i was on the mish. 

We have been grinding this week pretty good and then this week in church we had a bunch of investigators come which was awesome casue we also had an area seventy come and talk during church so it was super espiritual.

not too much else to report this week hopefully will be a little more excited but thanks for all trhe support and i love you guys

6/3/2019.Week in cordoba capital

hey whats up everyone, this week was nuts i spent very little time this week in my area but still got a couple stories.

So at the first of the week we had exchanges with the zone liders and they live an hour away in bus so we traveled there did exchanges which was awesome i love learning new ways to teach from other missionaries.

Then we headed back to our area and the next day we had a district meeting and exchanges with the district leader another hour away from my area but still a fun experience to meet other investigators.

3rd day we went into cordoba capital 2hours away because my comp had to do some papers so he is legal in argentina. that was awful i had to sit in an argentine tax place for six hours just studying my scriptures while awful music was playing and everyone was yelling, but still felt the spirit and got some new insights so PLUS.

We then finally got back into our area for one day and we taught daniela and her familia daniela her work is to watch this old women who comes to her house every day she has alzhiemers and is kinda shutting down, but so we were teaching the word of wisdom right and then got the classic reaction COFFEE you guys dont drink coffee. haha then we explained that its a harmful substance and god has given us this commandment, then we heard from the other room this old lady yell coffee is the most delicious drink in the world i dont care what ya say. hahaha we started dying laughing and was hard to keep the spirit but eventually we got it back and her whole familia comited to keep the word of wisdom so awesome.

Then we had a misson p day in cordoba so we traveled again 2 hours but it was awesome to see all the elders and hermanas again and we played some football volleyball and of course spike ball.
