9/26/2020 Knocking...

Hey everybody hows it going!!

So this week was really good, we got news that our mission got approved to start knocking doors again. They are rolling it out in a 4 phase project just to keep everyone safe and the mission wont actually be able to knock doors until November.. but since im going home this transfer they told me and my comps to get out and start knocking right now and test it out for an hour a day haha, so that was pretty cool and were able to meet our first latino contact!!! His name is jorge and him and his family are from mexico so hopefully this week we can meet with them.

We started our spanish teaching class and it was pretty good our group has about 89 members right now, and we have two scheduled lessons per week and we jave already met some really cool people and we will see where it takes us this week.

The rains have officially started here, so it always cloudy now but its getting me super excited for cold weather!!!!

Alright thats all for this week love you guys talk to you next week

Port townsend a.k.a. los boonies 9/21/2020

Whats up everyone hope you are all doing well.

So the smoke finally cleared up here and we were able to get outside again, and the week started off with zone conf. Which was a good spiritual boost and then i got to have my last interview with my president and that was really good, we talked about my mission and how i have changed throughout the past 23 months.

During the week we were able to meet with a woman named phyllis and we are teaching her, she is very interested in everything haha so we are judt taking it bit by bit with her.

We are on the hunt for latinos, port townsend is a big retirement island so its hard to find young people and especially hard to find latinos, so we are asking everyone if they know any. We have recieved a couple of tips that a woman from Colombia works at a grociery store haha so now we drive 45 minutes to shop there and hopefully run into her haha.

We started a spanish/english class for those who want to learn either languages and the first we had 54 people who came virtually haha so we may have bitten off more than we can chew... but hopefully this is a gold mine for us and we can get some teaching opportunities from it.

Love you all have a great week and share your testimonies

Pics we took some more long exposure pics on the beach, a keychain some members made for us, the red sun from the smoke(star wars vibes)

9/14/2020 La Ultima

Hey everyone so i havent written an email in a while so i thought i would update everyone real fast.

So i ended up getting transfered and now im in an english are on a little tiny island in the bay of northern washington. Im in a trio with two other reassigned missionaries that were serving in mexico.

So its actually been crazy smokey here these past couple of days due to all of the fires so that hasnt been super great because we havent been able to go outside.

But our president told us he wants to start a spanish branch up here so we need to start making the foundation for that, so if everyone could pray for the spanish work in port townsend that would be awesome!!

Its a really pretty area im surrounded by ocean everywhere i look, but that also seems to bring some very interesting kelp scent all the time.

We been mainly focused on doing service through facebook and its crazy how busy we've been, we basically just post in local groups saying we are doing free service and we usually get 3 to 5 people messaging about what we could do, so that has been really fun to be able to get to know so many people doing service.

So the other day we were walking around on p day and we saw a skate park right on the beach which led to an amazing looking skim spot.... hahaha so i picked the skatepark, we decided to walk in because i wanted to kinda check out the park. We were in church clothes so of course we got some stares from people, but one kid asked if i wanted to borrow a board and try skating and i said sure. Im not a very good skater but i love skating big bowls and there were two of them in this skatepark and nobody really touched them so i tried one then thrñe other and then dropped into the 1st again and people started to stare even more haha till the outside of the bowl was surrounded by skaters watching this wierd elder try to skate haha, but we ended up teaching three dudes including the one who let me borrow his board, his name is steven and they are all really cool guys and we have another meeting with them thid week so hopefully that goes well!!!

Alright love you all hope you have an amazing week!
