Invierno pero mal 5/28/2019

so this week was crazy cold haha hit us like a brick my comp is from el salvador and its only tropical there so he hates the cold and i thought being from utah and all i figured i would be able to stand the cold but psych after 10 months of straight summer im dying it was like 55 degrees the other day and i left with a jacket scarf and gloves hahah so im pretty wimpy now.

This week we continued teaching daniela and her familia and they are getting super close to the baptism stage so pray for them.

We had intercambios with my zone liders again which was pretty fun i went with and elder who goes home in 2 weeks so it was good to work with someone with a ton of experience.

Then we hit up the temple this morning and it was awesome i love the temple and cant believe how lucky we are in utah to have to so many temples so close we need to take advantage of them everyday possible i wish i could go more but we need to follow the example of christ and press foreward with the work on the other side they are way too many people waiting for this ordenazas.

Hey everyone sorry dont hae too much time this week again.

So this week we have been a ful with our investigadores and trying to get everyone to progresos but our church is Just a house and its really small and kinda ugly inside so this week me and Vázquez after cleaning the church saturday we decide to renovate a little we replaced Brown paper covered walls with some White cloth we bought at a catholic store and then put UP some picture we got from the church website. Then for the hymms we always sing without music so we took my Bluetooth speaker and downloaded all the hymms and then sunday came and it was awesome the church was still ugly but fully of the spirit and helped me realize that the looks of our church dont really matter people can always feel something different with us and thats always we need the spirit never fails.

Hey 5/14/2019

Whats UP family and friends i dont have too much time today

So this week was pretty good me and Vázquez get along good and its super wierd to be comp mayor but im getting the hsng of things

So this week we are working with milagros and reynaldo they are studs we are working on getting them married to be baptized then head to the temple so fingers crossed.

Happy mothers Day mom and all other moms i love my momma so much she is evrrything to me and its imposible for me say it in words also imposible for me to talk about my mom without crying haha but she is amazing she made me Who i am today and i owe everything to her she is such an example to me in every way and truly represents christlike atributos. I miss you like crazy but i know this is where im supposed to be teaching People the very things you taught me. Love you mom.

Not to much else happened this week and i dont have pics sorry ill try to be better next week.

Busy Week 3/7/2019

ahhh ok so this week was kinda crazy and a lot happened so this might be a longer email but we will see.

so this week started off with us working with a couple named milagros and reynaldo and they are studs reynaldo is a member but has been incavtive for some time and we found him the other day and he said that last night he prayed and said lord if you send me the elders i will go back to church. kinda wierd to tempt god like that but hey we knocked on his door the next day and met him and his girlfriend and taught them and now she wants to get baptized like crazy so we have starting working on their marriage papers. update next week.

next so all know that i had a surgery on my toe to remove the ingrown toe nail well so after 5 weeks of being together my comp finally tells me hey i think i have an ingrown toe nail. and i looked and sure enough it was ingrown like crazy haha then i told him why the freak he didnt tell me earlier so we could do something and me of all people would know about it. well so after that we decided to try and take it out ourselves my comp put a sock in his mouth and i got to cutting we were able to snip out the bad part of the skin and nail and then wrapped it all up with alcol and goz so hes all good now so you can all refer to me now as doctor elder singley if you would like hahah.

another funny story so we are teaching a lesson right and getting into the good stuff about joseph smith right as the people we are teaching serve us some popcorn so we are kinda snacking as we are teaching and i ate a popcorn seed on accident and felt like a hard bite but i was focused on the lesson but then felt my tooth and felt a fat chunk of it was missing and that i had just swolled my tooth. i let out a loud oh and everyone looked at me with my face a little distressed so i just decided to give the first vision story and it ended up working really good haha but super sucky cause now i have to go to the dentist tomorrow my least favorite place on earth.

We had transfers this week which means i had to say good bye to johns and when you say goodbye here in argentina you have a huge fight with eggs and flour haha so we did that then the next day i went and got my new comp his name is elder vasquez and he has 5 months in the mish so i gotta take over as comp mayor now so we will see how that goes.

olvidarte de tu mismo 4/29/2019

hey everyone i had a short but awesome week 

So this week started off pretty slow we had rain storms for almost 4 days straight and it got super cold so not the funnest to work but good side is more people let us into their houses cause they think we are nuts walking out in the rain.

 so we taught the sabbath day lesson a lot this week and it was pretty difficult a lot of people here have trouble giving up work or even waking up earlier than 12 but me and johns were able to make some awesome promises through the spirit that if they gave this day to the lord they would be blessed in all things in the world and spiritually so it was super spiritual the whole week.

Then came in the headaches so friday i got hit with a pretty bad migrane and it lasted all saturday so that super sucked i was stuck in the apartment all day and it was driving me crazy like always not being able to go work. but good news it cleared by sunday and we were able to wake early to go look for investigators so i was super greatful i could finally work a little bit.

So the reason i have p day today is because our president is about to go home to he did a big p day with all up the mission. it was so freaking fun i got to play american football and spikeball it was a blast i got to know a bunch of new missionarys and say goodbye to my trainer who heads home in a week. it was super cool though we all met up at a big park in cordoba and just played sports and games all morning, super needed p day.

we had a conf. with our president recently and and the end he gave a talk and in one part he said olvidarte de tu mismo and it struck me like a bat. that means forget yourself. ive realized i havent been giving my 100 percent to these people and god everyday and after a hard day working 100 percent i think to myself sweet now tomorrow i can go a little easier but i cant i dont have time to rest i dont have time to give half effort. i have to always remember the sacrifice my savior made for me and that the people need me here they need this gospel more than anything else. haha sorry for the rant but that was just kind of my new thing for this week.
